If you are staying in Austria for more than three months and meet the applicable EU free-movement conditions, the Anmeldebescheinigung is a separate document from the Meldezettel. Official guidance says the application is generally due within four months of entering Austria.

The Meldezettel is connected with registering where you live. It does not by itself give you immigration permission. Treat address registration and the right to stay in Austria as separate questions.
2. EU, EEA and Swiss citizens
Free-movement rules can apply to EU, EEA and Swiss citizens, but longer stays can involve additional documentation and conditions. If you plan to stay for more than a short visit, check the official Austrian guidance for your exact status and deadline.

- Certified copies or translations when the authority requires them
